PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the interlinked magnetic flux in a stator, in a coaxial motor which is equipped with an inner rotor and an outer rotor. SOLUTION: The coaxial motor has an inner rotor being arranged coaxially with a stator inside this stator, and an outer rotor being arranged coaxially with the above stator outside the stator. In the motor, a composite current where an AC current for driving the inner rotor and an AC current for driving the outer rotor are compounded is applied to the coil of the above stator so as to control the inner rotor and the outer rotor independently. The magnetic flux of an axis (d) is made smaller than the magnetic flux of an axis (q) in regard to one rotor, and the magnetic flux of the axis (d) is made larger than the magnetic flux of the axis (q) in regard to the other rotor. Thus, the vector sum of all magnetic fluxes becomes small. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
