The invention relates to a connecting profiled piece on longitudinal and transversal sides (3, 4) of plate-like panels (1, 1', 1'') that are preferably used for floors (2), and even walls and ceilings. The inventive connecting profiled pieces are arranged both on the longitudinal sides as well as on the transversal sides (3, 4) of the panels (1, 1', 1''). By virtue of the fact that the stressed contact areas (11, 12, 13, 14) of the connecting profiled pieces are placed on portions of the panels, which are not flexible, the assembled panels have a relatively high standard of quality and stability with regard to the covering. |
