PURPOSE: A method for processing faxed data and a multifunction complex device performing the same are provided to allow the multifunction complex device to store a faxed message to print, edit, move or delete the message on user's intention, thereby eliminating cost of consumable required for printing the message. CONSTITUTION: Whether a faxed message is received is decided(10). If so, the message receiving is informed to a user(12). The received message is stored in a multifunction complex device(14). Identification information for identifying the stored message is informed to the user(16). The importance of the stored message is checked and whether or not to print the stored message is decided(18). If printing is decided, the stored message is read and printed(20), and if printing is not decided, the importance of the stored message is checked and whether to move, edit or delete the stored message is decided(22). If the movement of the message is decided, the message is moved(24). If the edition of the message is decided, the message is edited(26). And if the deletion of the message is decided, the message is deleted(28).
