METHOD FOR PARALLEL PROCESSING CONSISTENCY MANAGEMENT FOR SUBSTANCE VIEW IN DATA WAREHOUSE USING REFERENCE INTEGRITY LIMIT CONDITION

PURPOSE: A method for parallel processing consistency management for substance view in a data warehouse using a reference integrity limit condition is provided to efficiently manage view and reduce load of the increased view update time due to increase of sources by maintaining the consistency on a distributed data warehouse environment and shortening the time for updating the substance view. CONSTITUTION: To update a changed item occurred from the source relation to the view, a reference relation graph between respective source relations is searched(S3). As the relation occurring the changed item searches the reference relation graph, a join operation of a sub query is performed as many as a number of the referring relations in parallel(S12). A final result is generated by sequentially performing the join operation for the rest relations and is updated to the substance view(S21).
