PURPOSE: An organic electroluminescent(EL) display device and its driving method are provided to reduce image quality unbalance by operating the organic EL display device at a high current region, and to improve a lifetime and to remove afterimage phenomenon by applying a reverse bias voltage to the organic EL display device. CONSTITUTION: The first signal line transfers a data voltage and is formed along one direction. The second and the third signal line transfer the first and the second scan signal respectively and cross with the first signal line. And a pixel circuit is formed on a pixel area, and includes the first switching device transferring the data voltage from the first signal line in response to the first scan signal from the second signal line, and a capacitor(C) charging a voltage corresponding to the data voltage from the first switching device, and transistors(M1-M4) supplying a current in correspondence to the voltage charged in the capacitor, and also includes an organic EL device(OLED). The second signal line is a pulse converting between the first and the second level during one frame. The organic EL device radiates when the second scan signal has the first level, and does not radiate when the second scan signal has the second level.
