摘要 PURPOSE: A kick-down shift control method of an automatic transmission for a vehicle is provided to obtain the optimum shift quality by repeating increase-learning for engine torque reduction when overrun of turbine rpm(revolutions per minute) is excessively larger than a reference value and starting hydraulic learning of the automatic transmission if the overrun is under the reference value. CONSTITUTION: A kick-down shift control method of an automatic transmission for a vehicle comprises steps of deciding whether kick-down shift is being executed(S100); deciding whether overrun is larger than a reference value(S110); deciding the engine torque reduction-learning rate according to the overrun if the overrun is over a reference value(S120); executing accumulative operation of the final engine torque reduction by the sum value of the engine torque reduction learning rate and a basic map value of torque reduction(S130); executing engine torque reduction control(S140); executing hydraulic control for shift at a shift-hydraulic control module(S150); executing return if shift by the hydraulic control is finished(S160); learning a kick-down shift-hydraulic value if the overrun is under the reference value(S170) and entering the step of the hydraulic control.
