PURPOSE: An emergency situation notification system using a mobile terminal is provided to install an impact detection part in a mobile terminal so as to detect an external impact due to the occurrence of an emergency situation. CONSTITUTION: An emergency situation notification system in a mobile terminal is composed of an impact detection part(10), a surrounding judgment part(20), an emergency rescue processing part(30), and a message transmitting part(40). The impact detection part(10) senses a direct impact, given to the mobile terminal, or an indirect impact, given to the user, and transfers a corresponding impact signal to the surrounding judgment part(20). The surrounding judgment part(20), if an impact signal is delivered from the impact detection part(10), judges whether it is an internal impact or an external impact. In case that it is judged that it is an external impact, the surrounding judgment part(20) creates an emergency rescue signal and transfers it to the emergency rescue processing part(30). The emergency rescue processing part(30), receiving the emergency rescue signal, creates an emergency rescue message and transfers it to the message transmitting part(40). The message transmitting part(40), receiving the emergency rescue message from the emergency rescue processing part(30), transmits it to a base station system so that the emergency situation can be reported to an emergency report center.
