PURPOSE: A mobile terminal using an adaptive filter algorithm is provided to previously cancel a user's voice signal inserted in a noise signal inputted from an auxiliary microphone in order to filter only the noise signal completely and to reproduce the user's voice signal perfectly. CONSTITUTION: A voice processing system in a mobile terminal using an adaptive filter algorithm is comprised of a main microphone(302), an auxiliary microphone(301), the first and second adaptive filters(303,306), the first and second operators(304,307), and the first and second adaptive filter algorithms(305,308). The main microphone(302) and the auxiliary microphone(301) input a noise signal and a user's voice signal respectively. The first adaptive filter(303) filters the user's voice signal component inputted to the main microphone(302). The first operator(304) executes convergent operation for the user's voice signal inserted in a noise signal inputted from the auxiliary microphone(301) on the basis of the user's voice signal component extracted from the first adaptive filter(303), removes the user's voice signal inserted in the noise signal, and outputs the pure noise signal. The first adaptive filter algorithm(305) compensates an adaptive filter coefficient used for the first operator(304). The second adaptive filter(306) filters the noise signal outputted from the first operator(304). The second operator(307) executes convergent operation for the noise signal inserted in the user's voice signal inputted from the main microphone(302) on the basis of the noise signal extracted from the second adaptive filter(306), removes the noise signal inserted in the voice signal, and outputs the noise-cancelled voice signal. The second adaptive filter algorithm(308) compensates an adaptive filter coefficient used for the second operator(307).
