The present discloses compositions of enhanced drugs and useful methods in the treatment of male erectile dysfunction. It is an optimized mixture of phentolamine mesylate, papaverine hydrochloride and alprostadil in a buffer containing L-arginine and glycine, which is injected in the penis tissue to produce an erection in men that in another circumstances are impotent.
