An electrically-conductive ceramic plate (2) comprising a carbon matrix which, together with a smooth protective and decorative outer layer (3), forms a flat body (1) for use as a decorative electrical resistance heater for internal room surfaces, the plate (2) being characterized by a low specific resistance of 20-100 micro-ohm. An Independent claim is also included for arrays of flat tiles (1), electrically connected together and arranged on the floors, walls or ceilings of rooms. |
