SUBSTANCE: the present innovation describes application of the well-known benzasol compounds chosen out of the group including 5-amino-2-methylbenzothiazole and 5.6- dimethoxy-2-methylbenzothiazoles as a repellent against insects, animal-infecting ticks and parasitiformic ticks. A composition is being, also, described containing these mentioned compounds, and method for its obtaining that deals with mixing an active compound with compositions improving the distribution of this compound along the surface.
