PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera in which sound other than voice is hardly recorded even when the voice is recorded together with an image in a moving picture photographing mode. SOLUTION: A fixed diaphragm plate 153 having an diaphragm with a large opening is placed on an optical axis and two rotary diaphragm blades 152, 162 are each turned in response to the luminance of an object to form the diaphragm with a small opening. The two rotary diaphragm blades 152, 162 are respectively formed with long holes 152a, 162a and the long holes 152a, 162a are crossed to form the diaphragm with a small opening. The two rotary diaphragm blades are respectively held at two self-stop positions of meter drivers 150, 160 to respectively form an open diaphragm and a small diaphragm thereby eliminating the need for padding a padding member to a positioning member to stop the rotary diaphragm blades.
