PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit the setting of the destination and the route in a wide place, and to provide a data record transmitter and a recording medium reproducer, which can easily perform the settings for a plurality of car navigators. SOLUTION: The data record transmitter 20 includes a receiving circuit 37 which receives a signal including destination and route information set by the recording medium reproducer which can reproduce the recording medium on which car navigation map information is recorded, a memory 36 which stores the destination and route information based on the received signal, a transmission circuit 35, and a microcomputer 33 which makes the transmission circuit 35 transmit the signal including the destination and route information set by the recording medium reproducer, on the basis of the destination and route information stored in the memory 36.
