PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make small a shock sound generated between an aperture blade and a stopper. SOLUTION: A light quantity adjusting device 10 is equipped with a base plate 11 which has an aperture 11a formed as an aperture stop and the aperture blade 13 held on this base plate 11. The aperture blade 13 has a stop aperture 13a having a smaller diameter than the aperture 11a. The aperture blade 13 is provided to rotate between an insertion position where the stop aperture 13a is put on an optical axis and a retraction position where the stop aperture 13a is put off the insertion position. The aperture blade 13 is controlled by stoppers 36a and 36b to the insertion position and retraction position respectively. The stoppers 36a and 36b are made of rubber. Consequently, shock sounds generated between the aperture blade 13 and stoppers 36a and 36b are low. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
