PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve stability and reliability without complicating the configuration and adjustment in a laser beam generator. SOLUTION: The laser beam generator 1 having a stimulation light source for generating the stimulation light of continuous waves and a resonator utilizing thermal lens effect by heat generation at a stimulating position comprises a laser medium 3, an intermediate medium 4, and a reflection means 5 as the components. By adjusting the stimulating position in a direction orthogonally crossing the optical axis of the stimulation light, the interface between the components (the laser medium and a saturable absorber) and the intermediate medium (an air layer) is formed as a curved surface to correct an angle error concerned with the parallelism of the components in the resonator.
