PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operational amplifier capable of having a wide input output range, driving a heavy load, having a self-control circuit in it, and obtaining a high slew rate with the wide input output range without being limited by a threshold Vt of a transistor. SOLUTION: The operational amplifier includes: a differential input stage capable of receiving an input with a full range; a current source circuit for deciding a current value of the differential input stage; a phase inverting circuit for controlling the current source circuit; a drive stage; and an output stage. Further, the phase inverting circuit is placed between a transistor of the output stage and the current source circuit and controls the current source circuit in response to an output level of the output stage.
