METHOD FOR IDENTIFYING ANTIGEN MOLECULES BY USING MAMMALIAN CELL cDNA EXPRESSION LIBRARY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of identifying an antigen recognized by a monoclonal antibody in a good efficiency and in a short time. SOLUTION: This method for identifying the antigen genomic cDNA is provided by incorporating a total length cDNA into an expression vector for mammalian cultured cells to prepare the total length cDNA library, introducing the library into a mammalian animal cells for culturing, expressing a protein encoded by the cDNA in the mammalian cultured cells in a state forming a three dimensional structure and immuno-staining the mammalian cultured cells expressing the protein forming such three dimensional structure with the testing monoclonal antibody.
