<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of components, cost, space, and weight by reducing the number of inverters that drives a travel motor and an auxiliary motor, related to a hybrid vehicle provided with the travel motor acting as a drive source for travelling a vehicle and the auxiliary motor for other than the drive source for travelling. <P>SOLUTION: A common inverter I controls with a switch S a travel motor M1 that travels a vehicle V by itself or by assisting an engine E, and an auxiliary motor M2 that drives a compressor C for an air conditioner. So, a single inverter I can drive the travel motor M1 and the auxiliary motor M2. The number of components, cost, space, and weight are reduced compared to the case in which each of the travel motor M1 and the auxiliary motor M2 is provided with a dedicated inverter. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
