PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized movable antenna having a good outer appearance, wherein perfect countermeasures against static electricity is taken, and also to provide electronic equipment provided with the movable antenna. SOLUTION: This movable antenna is provided with a universal joint comprising a vertical shaft 13, an intermediate bearing metal fitting 14 and a horizontal shaft 15, and a turnable base part 20 of the intermediate bearing metal fitting 14 with a U-shaped cross-section is supported at the tip of the vertical shaft 13 in a freely turnable way. The horizontal shaft 15 is penetrated into both horizontal shaft support piece portions 21, 21 of the intermediate bearing metal fitting 14 to be supported, an insulating piece 22 is inserted between both horizontal shaft support piece portions 21, 21 to cover the bottom surface of the intermediate bearing metal fitting 14 and parts other than the back surface sides of the facing surfaces of the portions 21, 21, the antenna main body 16 is supported at the back surface side of the facing surfaces of the portions 21, 21 of the intermediate bearing metal fitting 14, and an insulating sheath member 30 made of insulation material is put on an outer side of the antenna main body. A pair of insulating bearing piece portions 31, 31 are attached pivotally to the fitting 14 by the horizontal shaft 15. The portions 31 cover both outer surface sides of an antenna main body bearing piece part 28 and both outer surface sides of the portions 21. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
