CLUTCH PLATE FOR WET TYPE MULTIPLE DISC CLUTCH

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent lowering of clutch capacity in a wet type multiple disc clutch using organic molybdenum-added engine oil for lubrication. SOLUTION: In the wet type multiple disc clutch 1, clutch plates 2 are disposed alternately with friction plates 3 to be engaged with/disengaged from the friction plates 2 in the organic molybdenum-added engine oil for lubrication. Surfaces of the clutch plates 2 to be brought in contact with the friction plates 2 under pressure when engaged are surface-treated for preventing lowering of friction caused by use of the engine oil.
