PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for molding an agrochemical composition containing a water-soluble solid agrochemical active ingredient and a solid carrier. SOLUTION: This method for molding the agrochemical composition comprises molding a plastic mixture containing the agrochemical active ingredient being solid at 20°C, whose solubility to water at 20°C is≥10 g/L, a solid carrier and water into rods by using an extrusion granulator in which a screen having holes having≥1.7 mm diameter is provided or adding water in an amount required for imparting plasticity to a mixture of the solid agrochemical active ingredient being solid at 20°C whose solubility to water at 20°C is≥10 g/L with the solid carrier to the mixture and mixing these components to provide a plastic mixture, molding the plastic mixture into rods by using the extrusion granulator in which the screen having holes having≥1.7 mm diameter is provided, (1)finely cutting the resultant rod-like molded article and then drying the molded article or (2) drying the molded article and then finely cutting the molded article or (3) finely cutting the molded article while drying the molded article and molding the finely cut pieces into granules.
