PATHWAY CONTROLLER AND METHOD FOR GENERATING PATHWAY CONTROL INFORMATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a path controller which simplifies and accelerates the function of a transferring device to be connected and appropriately grasps pathway information, and also to provide a method for generating pathway control information.

SOLUTION: A communication system 1 includes a plurality of transferring devices R1 to R6 and the pathway controller 10. Each of the transferring devices R1 to R6 is physically connected to the pathway controller 10 and transmits to the pathway controller topology information (link information and metric information) belonging to the transferring device itself. The pathway controller 10 has a pathway control information generating part 11 for collectively generating pathway control information on the basis of pathway information such as the topology information notified from the respective transferring devices R1 to R6. The pathway control information generating part 11 prepares a pathway control table T for all of transferring devices that have notified the pathway information. The pathway controller 10 transmits information included in the pathway control table T to the respective transferring devices R1 to R6, and the respective transferring devices R1 to R6 control packet transmission and reception on the basis of the transmitted information.
