PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video display apparatus providing ease of works for transportation, installation and wiring in spite of an independent video processing unit provided with functions related to video processing. SOLUTION: The independent video processing unit 2 is provided with the functions related to video processing, a video display unit 3 is designed miniaturized, and a video recording unit 1 and the video processing unit 2 are fixed to be handled as if to be one unit so as to provide the same expense in effort and time required for transportation and installation as that of prior arts. Further, terminals to be wired are located at a position providing ease of discrimination to facilitate the wiring work and whether or not the video recording unit 1 and the video processing unit 2 are corresponding units can be discriminated from the outward appearance such as the height and the width of the enclosures when the units are fixed.
