PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device for a board-like body accommodated by carrying out a simpler mounting process by a simpler constitution in the fixing device for the board-like body installing the board-like body such as a vegetation mat, in which a greening plant is implanted on a flat surface forming the basic form of a roof, a wall, a fence or the like for a building by a fixing member. SOLUTION: The fixing member fixing the board-like body such as the vegetation mat on the flat surface is constituted so that a hollow cylindrical body having a fixing section at a peripheral edge on the opening-end side, closing one end of a drum buried into a hole formed in the flat surface and opening the other end is installed and a metal fitting for the board-like body is fixed to the internal surface of a closing end. The fixing device having a simple constitution and even excellent handling properties and being capable of surely fixing the board-like body at a desired place is obtained. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
