PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film suitable for protection of a polarizing plate which has strong adhesion with a PVA based polarizer P and can display a stable polarization characteristic even if it is left for long time under high temperature/humidity and is manufactured by a simplified manufacture line at a low manufacture cost. and a polarizing plate protection sheet and the polarizing plate.

SOLUTION: The polarizing plate protection sheet is composed of a film having a structure where a thermoplastic macromolecule layer B which can be peeled is laminated on at least one face of an optically anisotropic macromolecule resin layer A and surface treatment C having antistaticity and mold-release property is laminated on the layer B of a side which is not brought into contact with the optically anisotropic macromolecule resin layer A in the order of CBAB or CBA or a film having a structure where an adhesion layer D is laminated on a face of a side opposite to the face where the thermoplatic macromolecule layer B is laminated in the optically anisotropic macromolecule resin layer A in the order of CBAD. The polarizing plate is formed by using the polarizing plate protection sheet. Thus, the polarizing plate in which molecule orientation in the face does not exist, whose surface does not have a defect, which is superior in optical anisotropy and is also superior in heat resistance and water resistance can be obtained.
