PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating apparatus for uniformly heating an object to be heated by generating an eddy current. SOLUTION: A first eddy current 3 is induced in an object to be heated 2, and a second eddy current 5 flowing in an opposite direction against the first eddy current 3 is inducted in a portion in the vicinity of the first eddy current 3, and roughly doubled eddy current is made to flow by a first adjacent eddy current portion 7 and a second adjacent eddy current portion 9 so as to obtain a high heating temperature. The part heated by the first and the second eddy currents 3, 5 is made to have an uniform heating temperature as a whole by the thermal conduction from a high temperature part to a low temperature part.
