PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensor system capable of preventing effectively correction information of a sensor other than a changing object from being changed by mistake, when changing the correction information in a head separation type sensor. SOLUTION: This sensor system 1 has a plurality of sensor units 2. Each sensor unit 2 is equipped with a sensor head 5 for outputting a detection signal having a level corresponding to the distance from a detection object, and a sensor controller 10 to which the sensor head 5 is connected detachably, for generating distance information between the detection object and the sensor head 5 based on the level of the detection signal from the sensor head 5 and inherent correction information. When changing the correction information, the connection state of the sensor head 5 is detected in the sensor unit 2 which is a changing object of the correction information, and only when the sensor head 5 is determined to be unconnected, the correction information can be changed.
