PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice-washing water dryer allowing a structure to be simplified and cost to be lowered. SOLUTION: This rice-washing water dryer 10 comprises a drying drum 20 connected to a jet heater 42 radiating flame. The drying drum 20 is supported rotatably around a pivot shaft 24, and the peripheral wall part 20A thereof is immersed in rice-washing water 16 stored in a rice-washing water pan 14. The washing water 16 is adhered to the surface of the peripheral wall part 20A of the heated drying drum 20. Also, the bran contents of the washing water are adhered to the surface of the peripheral wall part 20A in the form of dry powder, and scraped off by a scraper. In this device which dries the washing water 16 by using the drying drum 20, the structure can be simplified and cost can be lowered. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
