PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the agitating/mixing efficiency of a mixing apparatus for a drum for vertically rotating the drum. SOLUTION: The outside of each of both leg parts of an almost U-shaped rotary cage is pivotally supported by each of rotary shaft supporting parts to be rotated. Each of drum holding parts is connected to the inside of each of both leg parts of the rotary cage while an elastically linking mechanism is interposed so that the drum holding parts can be rotated together with the rotary cage. Each of the drum holding parts is pivotally supported on the inside of each of the base parts of the rotary cage while an inclined shaft supporting part is interposed so that each of the drum holding parts can be inclined toward the rotational direction of the rotary cage around each of inclined shafts of the inclined shaft supporting parts by the expansion and contraction of each of the elastically linking mechanisms.
