PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the finish of clothes having been dried in the drying process in a washer/laundry dryer with the process of drying the laundry by blowing hot wind into an inner tub, capable of implementing the processes from washing through drying consecutively. SOLUTION: The inner tub 4 with the axis of rotation in the vertical direction is rotatably mounted inside an outer tub 2 elastically suspended in a housing 1, and an agitator 5 is rotataly mounted on the inner bottom part of the inner tub 4. The inner tub 4 or the agitator 5 is driven by a motor 9, and hot wind heated by a heater 13 is blown into the inner tub 4 by a circulation hot air blower 12. A series of processes including washing, rinsing, spin-drying and drying are successively controlled by a control device 29. The control device 29 executes a process of determining the weight of clothes by driving the agitator 5 when the operation is started and a process of determining the weight of the clothes by driving the agitator 5 when the spin-drying is finished. The sequence of the process of drying is determined based on the difference of the values of weight of the clothes determined in both processes. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
