PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten pulldown time when starting a Stirling cold heat supply system 1. SOLUTION: This system is provided with a Stirling refrigerator unit 4 for generating cold heat by compressing-expanding operating gas, a heat carrying device 6 for carrying a secondary refrigerant to a cold heat using apparatus 3 by cooling the secondary refrigerant by the cold heat generated by the Stirling refrigerator unit 4 and a refrigerant chiller unit 8 having a compressor 71 for compressing a refrigerant, a condenser 72 for condensing the refrigerant by exchanging heat with outside air, a decompressor 74 for decompressing the refrigerant and an evaporator 75 for cooling a secondary refrigerant by exchanging heat between the refrigerant and the secondary refrigerant. At pulldown time, the refrigerant chiller unit 8 is operated, and the secondary refrigerant is cooled up to a prescribed temperature, and when reaching the prescribed temperature, operation of the refrigerant chiller unit 8 is stopped, and the Stirling refrigerator unit 4 is controlled so as to operate.
