PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horse riding saddle, on which a rider can safely enjoy riding alone without a pillion rider or a caretaker except at mounting and dismounting. SOLUTION: This horse riding saddle comprises a saddle body 1, a seat 70 provided thereon, and a backrest 80 provided at the rear end of the seat 70. The rider can ride on a horse in a comfortable posture by leaning on the backrest 80. Providing the backrest 80 with a holding member 51 or a holdback 54 allows even a physically-challenging person to ride on the horse without worrying about a fall therefrom. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
