<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compression data structure, a waveform generating device, and a waveform storage device that can perform expansion processing with simple constitution. <P>SOLUTION: In the compression data structure, one frame has a fixed length which is an integral multiple of a data width corresponding to one address and one frame consists of a prediction coefficient, a quantization width, bit number information as compression-related information, and compressed waveform data. Areas with fixed lengths are allocated as an area of the compression-related information and an area of the compressed waveform data. Consequently, the start position of the frame is fixed and the start position of the compressed waveform data in the frame is also fixed, so that the compressed waveform data can be read out and expanded with the simple constitution. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
