<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emission driving circuit of an active drive system capable of making an organic EL element emit light by luminance corresponding to data signals without enlarging a switch element for data signal write, and a display device. <P>SOLUTION: The light emission driving circuit comprises the switch element for passing the data signals through by being turned to a conductive state corresponding to scanning pulses; a capacitive element for holding the data signals passed through the switch element during the conduction of the switch element; and a driving element for supplying the driving current of a forward direction to the organic EL element corresponding to the data signals held in the capacitive element and making the organic EL element emit the light. The switch element is composed of a diode element to be turned to the conductive state by a potential difference between the scanning pulses and the data signals when the scanning pulses are supplied. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
