MATERIAL AND METHOD OF REPAIRING CONCRETE CRACK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the durability of concrete by preventing the occurrence of rust or corrosion on inner steel members in the concrete in which cracks have occurred.

SOLUTION: In order to obtain an additive for repairing concrete cracks, various kinds of cultured microorganisms and/or their extracts which have oxidation resistant effects are added to a liquid for treating the cross sectional surface of the concrete before repairing or curing water after repairing. Another additive is prepared by mixing the microorganisms to clay and firing the resultant clay. The cultured microorganism, the extracts or the microorganism-containing fired ceramic powder is directly added to the concrete which is to be repaired or added to the liquid for treating the cross-sectional surface of the concrete before repairing or added to the curing water at the time of solidification of the repaired concrete. The occurrence of rust or corrosion is suppressed or prevented by practically and continuously using the anti-oxidation action of the microorganism to keep the surface of a metal-made structure in an anti-oxidation state.
