<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compost cutting and agitating apparatus wherein its guide rails are not obstacles to a transport vehicle and a working vehicle which enter a compost field, and the agitation work can be smoothly and efficiently performed. <P>SOLUTION: The compost cutting and agitating apparatus that cuts and agitates the entire compost by attaching to longitudinal rails supported by a pair of guide rails a cutting and agitating device formed by providing agitation blades on the outer periphery of a rotating shaft vertically inserted into the compost with at least either of a high-pressure gas ejection port and a compost cutting edge; backwardly and forwardly moving the cutting and agitating device along the longitudinal rails while rotating the rotating shaft; and transversely moving the longitudinal rail along the guide rails. The guide rail on the entrance side of the composting chamber is higher than that on the deepest side or is higher than the entrance, and the front edges of the longitudinal rails are suspended from the guide rail. In this way, it is possible to solve the problem wherein, in a compost chamber with a slanted roof, the low position of the guide rail on the side of the entrance obstructs the entrance of a vehicle to the chamber or can not allow a big vehicle to enter the chamber, the workability in the chamber is poor, and the chamber can not be fully utilized. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
