PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding device which enhances the degree of designing freedom of a mold and can operate the stop control of a screw core accurately and stably. SOLUTION: The molding device, in which the shape of a screw part 132 is transferred to the material filled in a cavity 110a to form a screw shape in the material, is provided with a driving means 200 for rotary-driving the screw core 130, using a motor 210 as a driving source, via a clutch mechanism 220 which is disengaged when the rotating torque of the screw core 130 exceeds a specified value in the normal rotation of advancing the screw core 130 to the cavity 110a side, and is engaged when the screw core 130 is retreated from the cavity 110a in the reverse rotation of the screw core 130, and stop means 301, 302 for stopping the advance of the screw core 130 at a position where the screw part 132 nearly contacts one mold 110.
