PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical diffusion plate for vertical back light made of a polycarbonate resin for a surface light emitting large-sized liquid crystal display device which warps less, and has superior surface light emitting properties, small luminance inhomogeneity on a light emission surface, and a superior color tone. SOLUTION: The optical diffusion plate for vertical back light made of polycarbonate resin for a surface light emitting large-sized liquid crystal display device has≥81% relative transmissivity at a 30°photodetection angle when the thickness is≥2 mm,≥10 Kj/m<SP>2</SP>Charpy impact strength with a notch,≥110°C loaded deflection temperature under 1.80 MPa, and a≤0.1% size variation rate during 100-hour storage in a 60°C and 95% RH atmosphere, and is formed of a polycarbonate resin composition containing a≥75 wt.% polycarbonate resin, and being 1.3 to 3.0 mm thick.
