<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor and image processing system for requesting the distributed processing of image data or the following proxy processing of image data to an arbitrary image data processing means. <P>SOLUTION: This image processor is provided with a plurality of printers Pr1, Pr2, Pr3, Pr4, etc., and a plurality of client machines PC1, PC2, PC3, PC4, PC5, etc. Upon requesting the processing of image data to any printer other than the printer which has initially requested the processing of image data, a client machine confirms the security level of the other printer to which the processing of image data should be requested, and then requests the distributed processing of the image data to the other printer.
