PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an FM receiver for preventing a deterioration in sound quality caused by variations of electric field strength and multipath noise, and also to provide a noise eliminating device and a noise eliminating method of the FM receiver. SOLUTION: A computing unit 9 outputs a signal obtained by subtracting a signal based on a detection signal of multipath noise whose time constant is determined by a time constant circuit 6 from a signal based on an RSSI signal whose time constant is determined by a time constant circuit 5 as a control signal to a stereo noise control circuit or the like. This can control a deterioration or the like in separation in accordance with multipath fading and prevent a deterioration in sound quality. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
