PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide cleaning pads for a contact lens excellent in portability. SOLUTION: The cleaning pads 20 used in washing of a contact lens by rubbing comprises a polyester type thermoplastic resin porous material having a three-dimensional open cell structure manufactured by an extraction method. The polyester type thermoplastic resin porous material is formed into tubular bodies and a contact lens is washed by rubbing with the tubular bodies fitted on one's fingertips. Since the polyester type thermoplastic resin porous material is used, the cleaning pads have such flexibility as not to scratch a contact lens and such a superior water absorbing property as to hold a washing liquid.
