<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyethylene resin that is excellent in moldability, high flowability, rigidity balanced with impact resistance, stress crack resistance, slipperiness, low odor and safety as food, has a small elongation at a high temperature, can be easily cut, and is suitable as a material for a container lid having a bridging structure for securing a tamper-evident property that makes it possible to cap the container with the lid again. <P>SOLUTION: This polyethylene resin for container lids satisfies requirement (a) that the MFR (measured at 190°C and under a load of 2.16 Kg, being the same condition hereafter) is 0.5-5 g/10 min, the HLMFR (measured at 190°C and under a load of 21.6 Kg, being the same condition hereafter) is 100 g/10 min or larger, and the HLMFR/MFR is 50-200, requirement (b) that the density is ≥0.960 g/cm<SP>3</SP>, and requirement (c) that the elongation in tensile testing at 23°C is ≤100%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
