<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for detecting a beer destructive fungus of Pectinatus, to provide a genetic sequence therefor, and to provide a method for detecting the fungus by using the sequence. <P>SOLUTION: The oligonucleotide comprises a sequence targeting a nucleotide cording for 16S ribosome RNA gene of Pectinatus and selected from specific sequences complementary to the nucleotide sequence or corresponding complementary sequences so as to selectively detect Pectinatus cerevisiiphillus belonging to the genus Pectinatus in a sample. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
