PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat developable image recording material that ensures little variation of sensitivity even after a long-term storage and prevents the emergence of such a phenominum that unwanted patterns due to laser light transmitted by the recording material and reflected on a drum or flat bed is also recorded. SOLUTION: The heat developable image recording material has a layer formed by coating a support with a coating liquid containing≥60 mass% organic solvent and contains a fluorine compound (F) of the formula [Rf-(Rc)n]m-Z, wherein Rf is a perfluoroalkyl; Rc is an alkylene; Z is an anionic group or the like required to provide surface activity; n is 0 or 1; and m is 1-3.
