PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glazing channel for a sash which enables the mounting of a single sheet glass to a sash frame for double glazing, and firmly fixes the glass into a glass opening slot formed in the sash frame. SOLUTION: The glazing channel for the sash is comprised of a glazing channel body 1 having a width fitted for the double glazing, and a channel-like glass holding portion 5 formed in the body 1. The glazing channel body 1 is formed like a deformed trapezoid. Then the glass holding portion 5 is arranged shifting to one external side of the glazing channel body 1, and has a narrow width in order to insert the single sheet glass 30 therein. The top face 2 of the glazing channel body 1 is formed such that an outside portion located outside the glass holding portion 5 is narrower in width than the glass holding portion 5, and that an inside portion located inside the glass holding portion 5 is broader in width than the glass holding portion 5.
