<p>A washing system for a slaughter line for the cleaning of the slaughter line's surfaces (11) and machines (12) comprises a washing trolley (4) with one or more transport elements (5) by means of which the trolley (4) rests on a rod (1) or rail and can be conveyed along the rod/rail by a transport mechanism (2). The trolley has a washing arrangement with application devices (14, 17) for the application of cleaning fluid to the surfaces (11) and machines (12). The rod/rail is made up of the slaughter line's sliding rod (1) or transport rail in which the trolley is hung by means of the transport elements (5). The transport mechanism for the conveyance of the trolley along the rod/rail is made up of the slaughter line's transport mechanism (2), which comprises carriers to actuate the transport elements and move the trolley along the rod/rail in the transport direction of the slaughter line. The trolley has one or more tanks for cleaning fluid. A control system (9, 10, 13) registers the position of the trolley on the slaughter line and controls the trolley's washing arrangement is dependency of the position. The washing system can perform automatic cleaning of the walls and floor of a slaughter line section having a sliding rod or transport rail of a traditional conveyor system for the transport of carcasses on a slaughter line. Furthermore, the system can clean machines of the slaughter line. The cleaning can be carried out without the assistance of operators so that they avoid the mists of cleaning fluid resulting from washing and cleaning.</p> |
