<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the oxidation stress of an oxidation stress causing substance containing liquid such as a dialyzing liquid without bringing about the absorption of an active substance into the body for eliminating the oxidation stress. <P>SOLUTION: An oxidation stress eliminating material has effect for eliminating oxidation stress from the dialyzing liquid especially used for the treatment of renal failure and is constituted of an insoluble solid containing an active group having reducing power. As the active group, SH, SOH, S=O, S<SB>2</SB>O<SB>2</SB>, S<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>H, S<SB>2</SB>O<SB>4</SB>H, S<SB>2</SB>O<SB>5</SB>H, and the like, are effective and, as the insoluble solid, polysulfone agarose, cephalose, a polyamide gel, silica gel, and the like, are used in a film-like or particulate state having a large specific surface area. The dialyzing liquid circulating circuit for treating the renal failure is constituted so that a column filled with the dialyzing liquid is provided to a dialyzing liquid circulating circuit or a replenishing liquid introducing line to the dialyzing liquid, and the dialyzing liquid is circulated in this circulating circuit. By this constitution, the oxidation stress causing substance in the dialyzing liquid can be eliminated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
