PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spray gun capable of maintaining proper spray pattern by quickly changing the spray condition only by a trigger operation corresponding to the change of coating part or spray distance without interrupting the work. SOLUTION: An air valve linked with the trigger operation is constituted so as to make the flow passage of pattern adjusting air side narrower with the increase of the opening of a coating material valve. The coating material is sprayed on a near and wide coating place by throttling the discharge quantity and forming an elliptic large pattern and when a far and narrow space is sharply coated, the coating material is sprayed to form a circular small pattern while keeping the spray quantity sufficiently.
