<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multimode radio terminal in which unnecessary transmission of radio wave can be prevented surely in a specified case even if the radio terminal is not obligated to stop transmission. <P>SOLUTION: The multimode radio terminal comprises a plurality of mobile telephone terminal function sections 1 and 2 provided in correspondence with a plurality of radio systems, a plurality of simple terminal function sections 3 and 4 provided in correspondence with the plurality of radio systems, and a section 5 performing transmission stop control of radio waves from the mobile telephone terminal function sections 1 and 2 and the simple terminal function sections 3 and 4. When any one of the mobile telephone terminal function sections 1 and 2 stops transmission of radio waves, the transmission stop control section 5 transmits a transmission stop control signal to all other mobile telephone terminal function sections 1, 2 and simple terminal function sections 3, 4. Upon receiving the transmission stop control signal, the mobile telephone terminal function sections 1, 2 and simple terminal function sections 3, 4 stop operation of a digital section 11 and stop transmission of radio wave surely in order to interrupt power supply to a power amplifier section 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
