PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a batch type metering apparatus which can improve the operating efficiency with less useless waiting time even when a particulate matter having a high flowability and a particulate matter having a low flowability are present as targets to be metered. SOLUTION: The apparatus a metering means 26 which meters the weight of a particulate matter pooled in a pool space, a particulate matter supplying means 29 which supplies the particulate matter in a fallen state, and a discharging means 35 which opens and closes a lower discharging part of the pool space. The measurement pool processing in which the particulate matter is pooled in the pool space and the particulate matter discharge processing in which the particulate matter is made to be in a discharge state when the weight of a set target value is metered are repeatedly carried out. The interval time from the completion of the discharge of the particle matter to the start of the measurement pool processing is changed, based on measurement information of a flowability measuring means 101 which measures the flowability of the particle matter, such that the interval time when the particulate matter has a high flowability is shorter than that when the matter has a low flowability.
